Clearwing Service Technician, Andrew Witte is certified in the VLX, 500, 800, 1000, 2000 and 3000 series of fixtures from Vari-Lite. Clearwing announces the 2012 audio and lighting design for Phoenix ZooLights. ZooLights is an annual lighting spectacular that has been held at the Phoenix Zoo for the past twenty years. This year, Clearwing Productions designed and executed an exciting new event finale encompassing the lagoon. The centerpiece of the lagoon is a custom 25’ tall sphere, surrounded by twelve 12’ pylons, covered in Color Kinetics iColor Flex MX LED strings.

Clearwing Productions completes 4-city tour with Macy's Glamorama annual charity event. Macy’s Glamorama is a show that has fused the best elements from Macy’s Passport in Los Angeles and San Francisco, and Macy’s Glamorama in Minneapolis and Chicago, to now become a four-city tour through Minneapolis, Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco. This year’s theme was “British Invasion”, paying homage to 50 years of British pop artists, and marked the 30th anniversary of Glamorama. The events have raised upwards of $40M for charities through the years: supporting children’s cancer research; improving the health, well-being and education of children; and helping with HIV/AIDS services, prevention and research.

Clearwing is now a certified dealer for Vortek Classic Hoists, the automated theatrical rigging system from Daktronics. Clearwing Service and Systems Engineer, Nick Pitman, has completed the Daktronics Rigging Dealer Training held in Rochester, NY, in January 2012. Clearwing is the only company in Arizona certified to repair, install, and sell the Vortek Hoist system.
